The Nutrition and Integrative Neurobiology (NutrINeurO) studies the impact of lipid nutrition on brain functions and the development of mood and cognitive disorders.
Their general working hypothesis is that lipidic nutritional imbalance contributes to the development of cognitive and mood disorders, due to their effects on the pathophysiological processes involved in these disorders. In this project, we had a dual approach. On one side we modelled the different techniques used in this lab. On the other side we represented the molecular cascades forming the signaling pathway involved in DHA protective effect in neuroinflammation.
